We have built up a strong track record in the identification and development of innovative product opportunities with a balance of development risk and commercial potential. We have focused our research and development activities on the therapeutic areas of metabolic disorders, gastrointestinal disorders and cancer supportive care, where there is unmet medical need or a demand for superior products, and in which we now have considerable technical expertise and market knowledge.
Alizyme has one drug candidate that has completed a Phase III clinical trial, one prepared to enter Phase III development and a further candidate with Phase II ‘proof of concept’ data in its development portfolio. All products have demonstrated notably improved benefit and/or safety profiles compared to existing treatments.
